We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual with Creative Visual Merchandising (CVM) experience to make an impact in our expanding luxury business! This role is responsible for leveraging and adapting CVM initiatives to drive business results in their dedicated markets while enhancing the Tiffany & Co. brand story through a cohesive blend of creativity and commerciality.

 

This role will have the opportunity to guide and support the regional development and execution of visual merchandising campaigns and product presentation efforts in store and in offsite exhibitions, implementing and strategically adapting global brand standards while supporting regional or global product and marketing initiatives. He / She will also contribute to the oversight and elevation of the general in-store and event environment to ensure the strongest execution of such customer touch-points and drive business results in the region. This person will serve as the primary day-to-day lead for Asia Trade CVM. There is a direct report - CVM Executive, Singapore.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Creative Campaigns / In Store Execution (30%)

  • Work with central and market level CVM and Merchandising teams as well as retail partners to leverage Global CVM campaign direction, with the objective of driving traffic to stores. Ensure Tiffany standards are being adhered to with regard to product presentations in caselines, shelves, window displays, vitrines and in store displays and decorations. Ensure display standards are maintained at third-party retailers in the region.
  • Lead communication of new CVM guidelines to the markets and trade network, and facilitate the exchange of photos and feedback to fine tune and strengthen implementation. Coordinate the collection of updated store information on creative vehicles, product adjacencies, space allocation to facilitate planning for floor moves and major roll-outs.
  • Partner with Market CVM, Merchandising and Retail/Market Operations teams to develop best practices in day to day display maintenance and optimal understock utilisation.

Visual Merchandising (30%)

  • Partner with Global CVM and Local Marketing & Merchandising stakeholders to align on collection placement within all stores and implement floorplan moves by working with the Retail teams. In collaboration with Market stakeholders, review all floorplan moves and provide feedback and updates to Global CVM.
  • Ensure styling guidelines and the merchandising strategy is upheld in all stores, including partnering with Retail teams to identify any visual merchandising (VM) collateral needs.
  • Partner with Retail teams and Market stakeholders on training plans for VM standards and budgets for new VM collateral. Track the effectiveness of company product initiatives that are highlighted within our caseline and creative fixtures and share with Global CVM.

Administration (15%)

  • Align with market teams toward CVM budget forecasts and and expense management, and capital expense planning projects. Track and prioritize investments throughout the year to remain within annual budget.
  • Manage the creative campaign ordering process, logistics and installation for all stores, along with any local production needs. Partner with Global CVM on all requests for damages, missing collateral and any changes to the creative orders.
  • Collect and coordinate CVM collateral orders on behalf of the region, keeping in mind project deadlines, delivery timelines and budget. Partner with and leverage support from market, central, operations teams to address logistics questions as needed.

Events & Exhibition (15%)

  • Communicate and partner with Global CVM and Market stakeholders on renderings, budget, production, vendor management and implementation. Review business impact and effectiveness of the initiative with Global CVM.
  • Provide support from concept development to design and execution, utilizing Central Creative or local vendor resources

Store Planning (5%)

  • Lend input toward the development and design of new stores with respect to display space layout and flow and incorporation of creative vehicles. Advise key partners in Store Planning, Store Design and Central Creative team regarding any key needs and issues in new store openings or interiors. Lead regional artwork execution for new and existing stores. Provide onsite suport as needed for openings, renovations, relocations.

Team Management, CVM Partner Network(5%)

  • Manage Singapore based CVM executive and support as needed for major projects.
  • Support and align CVM teams in best practices to cultivate a network of in-store partners to help maintain product presentation standards, implement updates, and provide support on a day to day basis.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years experience in creative visual merchandising - preferably luxury retail.
  • Strategically work from a creative and logistical standpoint and with a grasp of business drivers
  • Able to take creative direction and execute to a very high standard
  • Experience with basic construction hand tools and painting
  • Proficient in computer skills: email/Outlook, Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Collaborative and able to build strong relationships and tailor communication to various audiences. Displays a hands-on management style, professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work with a variety of disciplines and with a range of departments such as Retail, Marketing, Merchandising
  • 30-50% travelling required

Preferred:

  • Comfortable in and appreciative of a luxury retail setting.
  • Experienced in design or creative programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Sketchup
  • Experienced with editorial styling, theatrical or color display lighting experience
  • Knowledge of jewelry and jewelry display forms
  • Knowledgeable of vendor sources for display supplies, hardware, props, furniture, flowers
